Community Participation
Our diverse range of Community Participation Services
We believe that community participation is not only important for the individual with the disability, but also for the wider community. By promoting inclusion and diversity, we help to build stronger, more resilient communities that are better equipped to support all members.
We believe that community participation is not only important for the individual with the disability, but also for the wider community. By promoting inclusion and diversity, we help to build stronger, more resilient communities that are better equipped to support all members.
Our team of experienced support workers provide one-on-one support and group activities, facilitating opportunities for clients to meet new people, learn new skills, and explore their interests. Whether it’s attending a local sports team or club, volunteering, or participating in community events, we support our clients to actively engage with their communities in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to our direct support services, we also work closely with families, carers, and community organisations to create inclusive environments and promote community participation. This may involve advocating for accessibility and inclusion in community facilities, working with local businesses to promote disability awareness and employment, and collaborating with other service providers to develop community-based programs and activities.
